COMMUNITY FIRST

The Langhorne Lightning 18U Gold Team is a high level showcase team that is part of the Langhorne Lightning community organization based in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.  We practice in Langhorne at the Middletown Community Park.  

Our team's goal is to work hard and compete at a high level, but also to be an upstanding member of our local community.  We stress team over individual, coachability over talent and a positive mental attitude from players and coaches alike.   We also stress being a positive force in our community through volunteerism and being a role model to the younger players in our area.

Our coaching staff consists of experienced Coaches that have had success on tournament teams and school teams, as well as former College Softball student athletes.  We feel learning from former players is imperative to the growth of these players, both on the field and the classroom.

Langhorne Softball has always been a Community First organization.  We embrace that idea by participating in community outreach and helping others in our organization whenever possible.
